Hi, I’m Shatonya Johnson, a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCASA) and Behavioral Health Outpatient Counselor with over six years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges and transitions. My background includes work in legal settings, adult corrections, and juvenile detention centers, which has shaped my compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to care.

I earned a Master’s degree in Addictions Counseling from Liberty University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I am also pursuing licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate.

My counseling approach is holistic, focusing on the connection between the mind, body, spirit, and soul. I enjoy helping clients better understand themselves, navigate difficult seasons, and move toward healing, growth, and purpose.

As a Christian and mother, faith, compassion, and service are central to who I am. Outside of counseling, I enjoy serving at my church, spending time with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and getting lost in a good book.

Jeremiah 29:11 is a scripture that deeply guides both my life and my work, reminding me that every person has hope, purpose, and a future.
